never imagine I am capable

This is a typical street in Marseille. This narrow street is a two-way and I am always confronted with the plight of everyday driving. I am becoming more and more confident in driving. This is the way going to school !

This is a one-way and narrow street. Driver should be very careful when passing because of pedestrian traversing this way should be 30km/hr.

Another one-way street where the school is located. Parents and or guardians stay inside these steel barriers when picking up the kids.

I found a great site for your
virtual visit ! Do check this out !

Whew, WOW! I can't drive like that Haze. It's almost like in the Philippine "kalye road", ang sakip naman. I'm sure pag-uuwi ka ng pinas tapos mag da-drive ka dun, pancit mo na ang traffic at maliliit nating kalye.

Just drive safely especially when you passes this street.

Well, Filipinos are good drivers, aren't they? This should be possible.

I guess it must be a cultural thing... I am not afraid to drive in Europe but I hate driving in the Philippines.

Practiced na practiced ka na, Haze! What I really don't like about small streets like that are the blind corners. And bravo again for learning to drive in Marseille (I still won't drive there :)

These streets are typical in Marseille! I am afraid to drive back home, I think I cannot RAQUEL ! Oh yes, I will stay prudent and patient !

You should HILDA ! I now what you mean, mostly of Marseillais are impatient drivers! I was obliged to learn driving because it is a necessity especially for the kids when I bring them to school and a lot of errands to make. I'll wait for your email then I can give you the complete infos about the consular office here !

Oh sometimes my patience has an end PINING. Marseillais are known to be discourteous drivers.

That is what a lot of people say SIDNEY but I don't have experience driving in my own country. When I will have the chance to drive in the Philippines, I should learn defensive driving! Why do you hate driving in the Philippines ? Is it because of traffic :) ?

I don't have a choice MAKIS but to get used to it. I don't understand why you do not want to drive in Marseille ? You have 10 yrs. experience in Pinas and I don't :) ! Blind streets are somewhat dangerous especially when there are crazy drivers who doesn't respect the code de la route !

Hi ILOCANO BLOGGER walang anuman, the pleasure is mine! Sa district namin tahimik nga pero pag pumunta ka sa center medyo maingay at traffic. Yes, everything is possible ! I can tour you for free !

Taking pictures while driving? INFRACTION!!!

*joke, hehehe*

I forgot all my code de la route already. Anyway, no one respects anyone in the streets of Doha. I even doubt they know what courtesy on the road means.

:)

bravo haze!

like sidney, i hate driving in the phils too.. ewan hehe... there's just too much pasaways on the road there hehe.

I will not have infraction KALA I told them that it's for my travel journal hahahaha ! (no police, buti na lang).

Don't worry, by the time we meet up again, you're driving already! Starting this month right ?

Thanks ANALYSE! Oo grabe talaga sa Pinas, I guess I couldn't also drive there :(. Accdg to honey traffic lights are not working, no sign boards so how could they respect the code di ba !

Oh, congratulations that you're getting used to this driving thing Haze. The more you drive, the more comfortable it would be for you. But doesn't driving just give you a feeling of freedom and independence?

Hope to see more photos naman when its snowing ang you drive perfectly on it.

Ako di ko pa na try sa snow.Takut aku!

Those are very narrow roads. Reminds me of the Bourne Identity. :D Those roads would never work here in the states, what with all the SUVs over here.

Practice makes perfect as we always say TOE ! I remember the first I went to the highway from Marseille to Carry Le Rouet (45 mins drive) to visit Makis I was praying and singing just to de-stress ! Definitely, freedom to go anywhere and being independent because driving is a necessity going to the doctors, rendez-vous etc. without waiting for honey !

Naku FRANCESCA grabe talaga dito ang mga drivers! Accdg to survey Marseillais is known to be the uncourteous and impatient drivers! Haven't tried driving in a snowy road, hindi naman kasi nag snow dito sa South di ba !

I know that highways, blvds and streets are wider in the States WIL co'z I've seen some of documentary films being diffused here! If only we have that spacious roads, I guess I will not bump the car ! That's also the difference why French cars are smaller ; )!

I love these old and narrow streets! I'm it's a lovely, leisurely drive to school.

Imagine if you had to drive on the opposite side of the road, with the steering wheel on the right. Now that would confusing! :)

I appreciate narrow streets during a stroll in the city but driving there , i'm a bit afraid !

Yes in London they are right hand drive right, indeed confusing :( ! Maybe if we learn from there we will get used to it anyway ! Welcome back CHERUBLU !
